Formerly founder and CTO of ICQ, Yair is credited with the creation of Instant Messaging, the technology that has revolutionized the way we communicate on the Web. His successful invention was bought by AOL.
Following his success at ICQ, Yair then turned his attention to the online advertising space with the creation of Dotomi Direct Messaging™. Similar to the one-to-one channel of Instant Messaging, which is permission-based, timely and direct, Yair saw a need in the advertising market to deliver the same communication to marketers and consumers. Yair co-founded Dotomi with Eyal Schiff and currently leads the technology team.
Yair holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the University of Tel Aviv, and is an active investor in several Israeli start-up companies.
